Mission Statement

"Assistance League of Ventura County, a chapter of National Assistance League®, is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the enrichment of the lives of children in Ventura County and the betterment of their future."

Established in 1950, Assistance League of Ventura County has made a difference in the lives of more than 30,000 children in our community. During the most recent fiscal year ending April 30, 2014, more than 2,500 boys and girls benefitted from the six philanthropic programs that are managed and supported by the more than 400 Assistance League member volunteers. Because of their generous efforts, 89% of all money raised through fundraising activities goes directly to supporting chapter programs.
