Assistance League Bargain Box Thrift Shop
The Bargain Box is temporarily closed due to COVID-19. We will reopen when it is safe to do so for our community, our loyal customers, and our dedicated members. We truly apologize for this inconvenience, and hope to see you all soon!
The shop is an upscale resale shop staffed and managed entirely by volunteer members. The store provides a continuing source of income for the chapter’s philanthropic programs.
The Bargain Box Thrift Store is located at 3351 Telegraph Road, Ventura, California. Our phone number is (805) 643-5593. Currently, we are not accepting donations at this time.
Bargains abound in gently used clothing, books, jewelry, shoes, household items and sports equipment. A section of the shop is designated as “Gold Coast” and features high quality clothing, shoes, accessories, collectibles and jewelry. Four special events are held each year, including a Spring Home and Garden Event, a Jewelry Event, a Doll and Box Event and a Fall Home and Garden Event.
The Assistance League Bargain Box Thrift Shop serves many repeat customers and receives many compliments on the cleanliness of the store, the high quality merchandise and the friendly service by chapter volunteer members.
